Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Applies to: ToddlerApps for iPhone and iPad
The short version
ToddlerApps collects nothing. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The app makes no network requests of its own. Nothing a child taps, hears, or looks at in ToddlerApps is recorded, transmitted, or shared with anyone.
ToddlerApps is made for young children and is distributed in the Apple App Store Kids Category. The absence of data collection is not incidental — it is a requirement of building for children, and it is enforced by the app containing no analytics or advertising code at all. The rest of this policy explains that in detail, because "we collect nothing" is a claim that deserves to be shown rather than asserted.
Who we are
ToddlerApps is published by Daniel Clark, 586 President St, Apt 2E, Brooklyn, NY 11215 ("we", "us", "our"). For any question about this policy, contact danclark1820@gmail.com.
Information we do not collect
We want to be specific, because vague privacy policies hide things. ToddlerApps does not collect, request, store remotely, or transmit:
- Personal information — no name, email address, phone number, date of birth, age, gender, photograph, or any other detail about you or your child.
- Accounts or credentials — the app has no account system, no login, no profile, and no password.
- Identifiers — no advertising identifier (IDFA), no device fingerprint, no cookies, and no persistent cross-app or cross-site identifier.
- Usage or analytics data — no screen views, taps, session lengths, crash telemetry, performance metrics, or progress reports. The app contains no analytics SDK.
- Advertising data — the app shows no advertisements of any kind, contains no advertising SDK, and participates in no ad network.
- Location — the app never requests location permission and uses no location API.
- Camera, microphone, photos, or contacts — the app never requests these permissions and uses none of these APIs. It records no audio and takes no pictures.
- Health, financial, or biometric data — none, in any form.
- User-generated content — there is nothing to type, upload, post, or message. There is no chat, no social feature, and no way for a child to communicate with anyone through ToddlerApps.
Because of the above, ToddlerApps's App Store privacy information is declared as Data Not Collected, and the app ships a privacy manifest declaring no collected data types, no tracking, and no tracking domains.
What is stored on your device
ToddlerApps stores one thing locally, in the app's own private storage: a flag recording whether the paid activities are unlocked. It is a cache of the App Store entitlement, kept so the app draws the correct screen the instant it launches rather than briefly showing locks to a family that has already paid.
That flag contains no personal information. It never leaves the device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is not readable by other apps. Deleting ToddlerApps removes it along with the rest of the app's storage.
The app also reads, at the moment of speaking, which text-to-speech voices your device has installed, so it can pick the best available voice. That is used immediately and is neither stored nor transmitted.
Purchases
ToddlerApps offers optional in-app purchases that unlock the full set of activities. All purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
We never see, receive, or process your payment details. Card numbers, billing addresses, and Apple Account credentials are handled by Apple and are never visible to the app or to us.
The app asks Apple two questions: which products are for sale, and whether this Apple Account is entitled to them. Apple's answers are used only to show or hide activities. We receive no personal information in that exchange.
Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/), not by this one.
Aggregate, anonymised sales figures are available to us in App Store Connect, as they are to every developer. They are reported as totals by territory and do not identify any individual purchaser.
Purchases sit behind a parental gate — a short hold-and-read challenge a young child cannot complete — so that spending decisions are made by an adult.
Children's privacy (COPPA and GDPR-K)
ToddlerApps is directed entirely at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, the question of parental consent for data collection does not arise. There is nothing to consent to.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us at danclark1820@gmail.com and we will promptly investigate and delete it.
Third-party services
ToddlerApps uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external service the app communicates with is Apple's App Store, solely to verify in-app purchase entitlements as described above.
Data security
Because ToddlerApps collects no personal data and makes no network requests of its own, there is no personal data in transit to intercept and no remote database to breach. The only data at rest is the local unlock flag described above, which is stored in the app's private sandbox on your device.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version at this URL and update the Effective date at the top. We will not make changes that are inconsistent with the Kids Category rules under which this app is distributed.
