Terms of Use
Effective date: November 5, 2026
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Daniel Clark, 586 President St, Apt 2E, Brooklyn, NY 11215 ("we", "us", "our") covering your use of the ToddlerApps application for iPhone and iPad ("the App"). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App. ToddlerApps is made for young children; if you are letting a child use it, you accept these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their use of the App.
1. What ToddlerApps is
ToddlerApps is an offline learning app for young children, made up of activities covering letters, numbers, things, colors, animals, shapes, vehicles, and nature. Some activities are free; the remaining activities can be unlocked by in-app purchase.
The App works without an internet connection, except when it needs to contact the App Store to show prices or confirm a purchase.
2. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App, unless applicable law prohibits these restrictions.
3. In-app purchases
Some activities require an in-app purchase to unlock. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment details.
Purchases sit behind a parental gate — a short hold-and-read challenge that a young child cannot complete — so that spending decisions are made by an adult.
Once unlocked, activities remain available on the device. If you delete and reinstall the App, you can restore your purchase at no charge using the Restore Purchases option.
Refund requests are handled by Apple under its App Store refund policy. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
4. Privacy
ToddlerApps collects no personal information from you or your child. The App makes no network requests of its own. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.
5. Children
The App is intended for young children and is distributed in the Apple App Store Kids Category. It contains no advertising, no social features, no links to the open web, and no way for a child to communicate with anyone outside the App.
The only outbound links in the App are the legal links on the paywall, which are behind the parental gate.
6. Intellectual property
The App and its contents — including activities, sounds, and interface design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
The artwork in the App is Twemoji, licensed under CC-BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) and bundled inside the App. No image is fetched over the network.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or its in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms at this URL and update the Effective date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
